We read the book "The Jelly Donut Difference" by Maria Dismondy and got inspired to write acts of kindness to our friends and put it together onto these yummy doughnuts! Then, we made this lovely quilt that has three different maths levels - allowing differentiation. It has single-digit addition, double-digit addition and single-digit multiplication. Each child picked five kindness colours and which colour goes with each sum or product. It looked great and it developed to meaningful discussions and reflections!
